This book is a must read. For everyone, alcoholic or not. The raw honesty, courage and bravery of his story will profoundly inspire you. Heartbreaking and yet, so hopeful. I look forward to reading his next book.
I enjoyed reading this book. It helped me understand alcoholism better and understand gay people better. I heard about it from “not another anxiety show”. My only complaint is there are several grammar errors.

If you're wondering whether or not you should buy this book, you should. It's about the brutal work it takes to be honest with yourself, and about Seamus' journey overcoming his own challenges. The stories in it are deeply personal, but also applicable to anyone whether they're struggling with substance abuse or mental health issues or not. If you buy it, you won't put this book down, and you'll be glad you did.
Seamus is an incredible writer. He provides readers with honest and raw insight into the most difficult and nearly fatal years of his life. This book is heart-wrenching, candid, and inspirational--I couldn't put it down!
